- extraordinary support
About Xentric
Why it all started
Good firms were growing. Their caseloads were growing. Their dependence on technology was growing. But their IT support was not keeping up.
They were getting someone to fix things when they broke. They were not getting a partner who understood how a law firm actually runs, what client work depends on, or what downtime and security failures can really cost.
That gap is why Xentric exists.
- it started with a pattern
The Xentric story
Like a lot of people in IT, we started by helping others. Friends, family, and attorneys would ask for advice or help untangling a mess. After enough of those conversations, something became clear.
Law firms, especially smaller and midsized ones, were being underserved. The large firms had IT departments. Everyone else had whoever they could find.
The providers that were around at the time were usually built around break-fix support. They fixed what was broken, moved on to the next issue, and rarely explained how technology decisions affected the business behind the tickets. That approach left too much uncertainty for firms that depended on their systems every day.
George said to Arthur: we should start a company and do this right.
That is when Xentric was born.
- what's in a name?
Xentric is pronounced "zen-trick."
It is a play on words for a more zen-like, customer-centric experience.
The name reflects what we set out to build from the start: IT support that feels less chaotic, more structured, and genuinely focused on the business being served.
- the difference
What we do differently for law firms
Most IT providers treat a law firm like any other small business. We do not.
A law firm has specific obligations. Client data is confidential, not just valuable. Downtime during a filing deadline is not an inconvenience, it is a crisis. Remote access, document management, and communication tools need to work reliably and securely. Ethical duties, client confidentiality expectations, and data protection standards are not optional.
We have worked with firms across litigation, transactional, family, and personal injury practices, so we understand the common workflows, pressures, and technology needs that show up again and again.
That means you do not spend the first six months explaining your business to us.
What changes when IT is managed well
What Changes
- Problems surface earlier
- Decisions come with context
- Technology feels manageable
- Your team can focus on client work
What that means
- Issues get attention before they become major interruptions.
- Recommendations are explained before they become urgent.
- IT stops feeling random and starts feeling organized.
- Less time is spent chasing IT problems, workarounds, and repeat issues.

- what we do
What to expect when you work with us
We do not wing it.
The first step is understanding how your firm is currently set up, where the gaps are, and what needs to change. We document your environment, meet with your team, and build a technology plan that fits your firm specifically.
The first phase is about getting to a clean, stable baseline. From there, the focus shifts to keeping things running well, reducing surprises, and helping you make better decisions as the firm grows.
Thinking about making a change?
If your current IT situation feels harder to manage than it should, or if you are tired of slow response times, vague answers, and constantly putting out the same fires, it may be time for a different kind of partner.
We work with law firms that want more than someone to call when things break. They want clarity, structure, and a partner who understands what is at stake.
